It was about almost 40 hrs old and Ian the co.rep inspected it ,gave me 3 good solutions and good prices working with my AHS insurance. First time my home insurance gave me a good recommend. They were here at 10 after my previous appt and started right in.they got all set up and we had to wait 1 day for manufacturer part. The workers McKinley and Abner were very professional and patient. I have a very noisy dog since I can't hear and poor guys had to endure the barking. They cleaned up beautifully and my neighbor and his grandsons had a great time watching them and the crane!! Ian called later to see how it was working and I am a very happy client!! So much better than other quotes and times. Same Day Air lived up to their name."

"We used the AHS warranty that assigned SAME DAY SERVICE to fix the A/C. We were called and texted by Same Day telling us our approximate time. We were sent pictures of the truck with the assigned service agents. Our 1st was Ian. He explained what was wrong and gave us 3 options with prices. After choosing a new A/C unit we were assigned a 2 man work crew McKinley and his helper Abner. They were on time, polite, clean, professional and explained what they were going to do. They were patient with us as we had a dog that had to be contained when they came in to install the new thermostat. The crane was also on time and the work went quickly. They had the area clean and a company pickup the old unit before they left. We were pleased with all the associates Ian, McKinley and Abner and would recommend & use this company again."

Service Tech Keith came out and tried a number of things to troubleshoot the issue. He determined the Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) in the attic was stuck open and frozen and needed to be replaced. Also, the Disconnect attached to the house near the compressor unit had fallen apart and also needed to be replaced. Part store had closed for the day but they got both parts first thing next morning. Service Tech Hayden came out in the morning and explained the repairs before doing the work. An hour later, AC was cooling again. Overall, a great experience with this company! Was also impressed with the clear communications and technology used by Same Day AIR Repair—including texts when they were on their way, real-time tracking of their repair trucks, and names and photos of the techs that were working my job. Would highly recommend anyone needing HVAC work."

"Wow, these guys are awesome! The SDAR techs were knowledgeable and courteous. Got introduced to SDAR via my home warranty. They assessed both of my AC units which were not functioning properly. This is after a different repair company came out and really did nothing but waste my time - We were able to switch to SDAR for both assessments and repair options. They were on time, able to quickly assess the corrective repair and able to accommodate quick appointments. Highly recommend SDAR for your repair needs and stay away from the other guys (Kappa Air) - they're a bunch of "hot air" :)"

She was professional, but very personable and relatable. I explained the issue to her, and she set me up with an appointment within 5 days. Ian was my technician, and he let me know he was going to be a little late, as he wanted to stop and get a new thermostat "just in case", since my description of the problem pointed to a faulty thermostat. Once he arrived, we talked through everything, and after thoroughly checking out my HVAC unit and thermostat, he replaced my thermostat in no time flat. Everything works perfectly again. Our AC just completely shut off right when heat was at peak of 90degrees plus. Was VERY unhappy this company couldn’t service us for 3.5 weeks. Technician finally came out & replaced capacitor. Left thinking that was the fix but I had to call back that evening bc no cool air was coming out of AC vents. The AC unit WAS finally coming on, but that’s it… Trying to get someone to do something through the company direct was pointless, so I had to contact my warranty company. Needless to say. We were frustrated. Luckily didn’t have to wait too long & we’re blessed w/ technician - Fred. He was soo polite, VERY thorough, walked me through everything & explained things @ MY level (lay person). He caught things that should’ve been checked before. And he didn’t leave until checking ALL things even though he fixed the “no cool air coming out.” FRED definitely deserves to be recognized (a bonus/raise!? ;)) Because of him, I would use this company again. "My warranty company referred me to Same Day Air Repair. They were amazing for various reasons: 1) the guy answering the phone (Steven?) is very polite and professional. I felt very comfortable talking to him as he was very approachable, 2) the guy who came for the first time, Jo M was amazing. Where nobody cares to wear masks anymore, he came to my door with a good social distance. He asked if I prefer him to wear masks. In this heat, he did not show any discomfort and continued to respect my wish to keep masks on. He replaced some part before deciding to change the fan motor. He ensured me to put a note that someone needs to come back as priority to replace the motor if the issue persists after replacing it. When the fan wasn’t working again, they came right back! "Jay saved the day! When he showed up, we talked for a few minutes & I asked when the rest of his crew would arrive. He smiled and said he was the crew. I couldn't imagine one person doing a complete replacement of the air conditioner on my roof. Sure enough, the only other person during the work was the smiley crane operator. Jay did everything. Removed old unit, installed new unit, replaced thermostat, explained what "split" is, and was great to talk with the whole afternoon. I probably slowed him a bit with all my questions, but he answered everything. Once the install was complete, he was back on the roof cleaning. I asked when the unit would start, but he said it was already running. This is amazingly quiet! And my yard & house are amazingly clean - not a scrap of trash left behind. I'm not easily impressed and I don't generally provide ratings, but Jay earned all 5 stars. If there was a 5+ option, he would get it. I feel lucky to have had my home warranty company assign my initial service call to Same Day Air Repair. And even luckier to have Jay do the installation of the new air conditioner. Great service!"

"From the first phone call to the last of the repair, Same Day Air was amazing. The last technician that came out to do a compressor exchange called me to let me know it was diagnosed incorrectly. He said it was a blockage and the Schrader valve core was bad that’s why it wasn’t cooling as it had leaked out the Freon in the system from the bad Schrader valve, core, He made the fixes, filled up the Freon in the system and its been working properly since. They could have changed out the compressor and made the higher dollar amount, instead, they did the proper repair. Tells a lot about Same Day Air of their honesty and integrity as a company. James also set the record straight after another company (Crispy Air) lied during a first inspection & reported a "hole in the line & 9lbs. light on refrigerant" but refused to show photos of the "hole" - ultimately, James got the heater working within 5 minutes of entering our home. He also re-checked the work of (Crispy Air) & took photos (which he showed us -willingly). Although there was no hole & was not light on refrigerant so we could have kept the unit as is - the HVAC is 30 yrs old & James recommended to upgrade the unit. We found him to be very trustworthy so ultimately even though we had a working unit we opted to upgrade with Same Day Air 3) Bill & Mike showed up today (04/08/24) to install the new HVAC unit. They were on time & speedy with the installation but also VERY thorough and cleaned up all components. Before leaving our home, Bill showed us how to operate the new electronic thermostat & showed us all the photos of the newly installed unit AND the old unit too. Bill also made an adjustment to how the unit was positioned on the roof so the HVAC rested on a full frame elevated off the roof tiles vs. partially resting directly against the roof as it was originally positioned by the builder.
